    we recycle card,paper,cans, textiles in wheelie bins from the council and it has cut our landfill rubbish by half.

    we’ve also started going round the house unplugging chargers. its amazing how many the kids seem to have… on extension leads under the bed

    have just started composting with discounted bin from south west water (also a rain butt-not connected yet)have a wormery…not too successful have killed two sets of worms in last 2 years so have stopped at present it does make a very smelly juice to dilute and feed plants with though

    have banked with smile for several years you can pay money in at the post office and do the rest by phone or on-line…what is Shared Interest?

    have bought sainsburys large bags for shopping, fine as long as they’re in the car also M & S do a nice smaller one for the not so busy shopping day-doesn’t get used much tho.. we have a shop ourselves and the tax on plastic bags and packaging is talked about a lot at the moment some shops down here are starting to charge for carriers, we wait for people to ask for them unless they have a lot of goods.

    Have just bought some bulbs from the Coopers magazine that comes with the newspaper they were cheaper than lowenergyworld and had a variety of sizes also buy 4 get 4 free and buy 8 get 8 free

  7. Give Your Unwanted / Unworn Clothes To Charity -

    Have been sorting out blankets and warm clothing for an ‘aid’ lorry organiesd by the local Rotary club going out to areas of devastation
