They are fantastic, so much better all round. Really easy to use, we didn’t soak and washed nappies every other night. Try pocket nappies for ease of use and quick drying. Just down to washable pull ups overnight now (harder to find but still great).

Bought 2 shopping bags, bugs bunny and tweety pie 10 years ago and still going strong but I never thought to add to my collection and always had a few plastic ones as well. Added a cadbury’s bag and several cloth and jute ones so never have to take that extra one now.

Couldn’t part with some but sent some onto the church and school book stalls, not only recyceled but a bit of fundraising. Also have a book swop scheme at work and swapped a couple for my next good read!

Don't just recycle, Freecycle - 13 Sep 2006
Freecycle is fantastic. I have just passed on to barely used cot mattresses. Why all the press and information on SIDS I suggested them for sleep overs etc but found that there are lots of Mums out there desperate for mattresses and nursery goods. How much do we buy for our babies and how much do we pass on? NCT Nearly New Sales help the recycling process and give a bit back to the families to buy the next kit or clothes.
