I’ve just moved house and down-sized to an apartment near the town centre nearer to where my work is based. I’ve saved money, I’m using less fuel for heating, I can now walk to 90% of my work and leisure and to the train station. And I am happier.

I’m surprised to read such a glowing review of someone who was notoriously ungenerous to suppliers, to competitors and to those who assembled his over-priced products in the Foxconn sweatshop in China. An innovative genius, without question. But at what human cost? For me, Steve Jobs epitomises style at the expense of ethics.
