We have just started doing this, supported by a delightful little book called Common Prayers Collection by Leunig which we picked up in a charity shop. He is an Australian artist and illustrates the book himself. The prayers are simple, to the point, highly relevant and refer to seasons, thanks, nature, our lives evolving as human beings.

We are a small happy household living in a country town in Wiltshire. I work from home to some extent and we have a lovely natural garden which wins every year, and as such has tamed me into and taught me about the ways of permaculture and letting things be. Permaculture has been a great relief as I have realised that my struggle to control or tame my environment has never produced the delightful outcomes that we have had by the happy incidents of nature combined with some tender and respectful care. We don’t run a car, so I guess that counts as a plus! We have a dog and a rabbit and plan to have chickens at some point to keep the worms company!
