  1. Sign Up Online To Become An Organ Donor -

I had previously registered to be an organ donor but this reminded me to update my details, so done!

  2. Recycle Your Inkjet Cartridges -

currently recycle cartridges, but am interested to see if are able to have them refilled, have tried doing it myself but unsuccessfully :-(

  3. Make A Special Effort To Look Out For Strangers -

always try to be friendly to strangers such as smiling or saying hello, when appropriate of course, but also try to help people out if they look like they need it, so this is my reminder to try and do that more often instead of being in such a rush all the time!

  4. Choose to have one meat-free day a week in your home -

I have been cutting out meat for the last year, which I feel much better for mentally and physically, although I do still eat fish, which I’m not sure I can manage to completely give up, but I do try to be selective about where it is sourced etc…

  5. Ditch The Disposable Items -

I try to use rechargeable batteries where possible, along with having used a mooncup for about 6 months (which I am so pleased to have discovered!), and using/ recycling plastic containers instead of cling film where ever possible. Also use plastic bottles as cloches on my allotment instead of buying the real (expensive) thing..

  6. Give Something Away - and declutter your life -

Have joined freecycle and will ensure I use it where possible, when not giving items to friends and relatives of course!

  7. Get Rid Of Some Of Your Books -

Keep trying to cut down on my bookshelf, but it just keeps growing, however I am a member of book crossing and do try use where possible, also use the library where ever possible too!

  8. Shower More, Bath Less -

I try to have a shower where possible when not sharing a bath – which has got to help save water!

  9. Pass On Those Unwanted Gifts -

After a stern talk from a friend about not feeling guilty about doing this I have been doing this for the last year or so and actually feel good about it now, as someone else can hopefully benefit from it, whether a friend or family member or the charity shop!

  10. Make Your Own Greetings Cards -

Have been making my own cards since I was a wee child, but it can be a bit random these days, so a reminder to myself to do it more often!

  11. Become A Blood Donor -

I tried to do this after a year ago but failed as they couldn’t get enough blood out of me, but am going to try again soon! I am ill at the moment, but as soon as I feel better..

  12. Recycle Your Greetings Cards -

Recycling cards to make labels is something I do most years, but often still end up buying labels too… Must try harder!

  13. Encourage Others To Go Generous -

Have decided to add this as an action as I plan to email the site link to any friends who will hopefully consider it, but plan to also help and encourage others to take part in some listed actions, some of which I do already (have you got an allotment yet they hear her cry!)...

  14. Encourage Others To Go Generous -

any tips for introducing living generously at work?
