  1. Organise Your Money (What You Want To Give Away) -

I have been regulary giving a little to some charities and organisations for some years. I especially like to support friends who are working abroad with charities and organisations that help care for the environment.

  2. Send a Child a Christmas Box -

A group of friends and I do this together and we all collect a few things or give money for items to be bought for the box.It is fun doing this together. We sometimes go and sort the boxes for smaratians purse and this is an eye opener as the variations are amazing. Some boxes are(ethical gift… locally bought, fairly-traded, eco-friendly, organic)and others are not.The children who do this from local schools are generally very privaleged and it makes them think of others who are less fortunate.

  3. Make Your Own Greetings Cards -

Try and do this as often as I can and purchase bits and pieces in bulk with friends from mail order companies. It is fun, but time consuming and you do need the space to leave things to dry out. You need to very organised to do this for birthdays and special occasions as the card needs time to dry!!!!!

  4. Recycle Your Greetings Cards -

Try and do this as often as possible but does depend on the type of card sent and what it looks like etc

  5. Shop locally -

Try to by organic vegrtables every week with the local box scheme and also shop at the local farmers market, bought my christmas pudding there this year
