so good to read some of the comments on the site. I am a stay at home mum who feels very strongly that we are far to accepting as a generation about exploitation of the less fortunate. I try to tell my kids – it is not ok that some have so much and some are starving and have nothing – you have to change this…..can they? I truly believe they can – I never buy anything new for my kids I use charity shops, car boot and e bay. I do not want my kids to wear clothes made by other children – alot of school uniforms are not ethically made – how ironic. We already have too much stuff – google “the story of stuff” there is a short film that says it all.

We need as consumers to be demanding fair trade / demanding to see where their profit is going / insisting that at least a percentage of it it goes into global improvement projects .
