   We’ve been Abel and Coleing for at least two years and have found them quite good. My New Year’s resolution would be to try out more of the handy recipes they send with the boxes.

   I’ve recently started to buy Ecover products. Interesting to see snaffler’s note above. Ecover does seem to be most widely advertised and available. Any ideas for any other suitable brands/

2. Put A Save-A-Flush Device In Your Cistern - 26 Jan 2007

   Our upstairs loo hasn’t been flushed for two days! Not a deliberate action on my part, I might add; it broke. New flush bought. I’ll check out the brick thing.

3. Get a vest (or two) - 21 Nov 2010

   Signing up to this is a retrospective action; I must have the most extensive selection of thermal lingerie in the South of England. It makes people smile, but last winter I had the last laugh. I’m with Veronica on this one!

4. Wash cool - 21 Nov 2010

   My default setting for the machine has been 30 for ages, and, as the children have flown the nest, we don’t usually have any really muddy, grubby clothes to wash. The one exception is walking gear; after coming back from pilgrimage recently, it took three washes on 40 to budge the mud stains on my cargos. Sort of defeated the object!
